One Touch Arena
Centre Rules, Conditions of Entry & Code of Conduct
It is the responsibility of every player, team manager, coach, spectator and patron to read and understand the One Touch Arena (OTA) Centre Rules, Code of Conduct and Competition Rules before participating in any activity at the venue.
This document contains:

Unless otherwise stated within One Touch Arena competition regulations, all matches will be conducted under the current Laws of the Game adopted by the relevant governing body. Where any inconsistency exists between those laws and One Touch Arena Competition Rules, the One Touch Arena Competition Rules shall prevail.
Current policies and regulations are available directly from One Touch Arena management and may be updated from time to time.
1. Centre Rules & Conditions of Entry
1. Team Registration & Player Eligibility
a. Every team entering a competition must complete the official One Touch Arena Team Registration Form on the One Touch Arena application.
b. The Team Captain accepts responsibility for understanding and complying with all venue policies, league rules and conditions of entry, and for ensuring all team members are aware of these requirements.
c. All matches are played at the dates, times and venues determined by One Touch Arena.
d. All players must be registered before participating and may be required to provide photo identification (driver's licence, passport, student ID or similar). A strict No Registration, No Play policy applies.
e. Teams or players with outstanding debts from previous competitions must clear all balances before being permitted to participate again.
f. One Touch Arena reserves the right to refuse entry or registration to any individual or team.
2. Risk & Insurance
a. Participants acknowledge that futsal and sporting activities involve inherent risks of injury.
b. One Touch Arena maintains public liability insurance only and does not provide personal accident insurance coverage.
c. All participants play, train and attend the venue entirely at their own risk.
d. Players are encouraged to obtain their own medical, ambulance and income protection insurance.
e. One Touch Arena, its directors, employees, referees and contractors accept no responsibility or liability for injuries sustained whilst participating in activities at the venue.
3. Registration Fees
a. Registration fees must be paid in full by Round 2 or before a new team's first scheduled match.
b. Registration fees are non-refundable.
c. One Touch Arena reserves the right to:
- deduct competition points;
- suspend teams;
- refuse participation;
- remove teams from competitions for unpaid registrations.
d. Teams returning for consecutive seasons will receive a $5 loyalty discount per season. Missing a season resets the fee to the standard registration amount.
4. Match Fees
a. Match fees are payable to One Touch Arena.
b. Teams commit to the entirety of the season upon registration.
c. Forfeited games and missed games still incur the applicable fees.
d. Match fees may be paid in advance.
e. Teams must be fully paid a minimum of ten (10) minutes before kick-off.
f. Match fees are non-refundable.
g. One Touch Arena may forfeit a team that has not paid its match fee.
5. Forfeits & No Shows
a. A team forfeits when it chooses not to participate in a scheduled fixture.
b. Penalties apply as follows:
- First forfeit: game fee payable.
- Third forfeit: removal from the competition.
c. Teams receiving a forfeit win will receive:
- 3 competition points; and
- the applicable default score.
d. All penalties must be paid before the next scheduled fixture.
e. No Show: Double game fee.
f. Same-Day Notice: 1.5x game fee.
g. Teams forfeiting during finals may be immediately removed from future competitions.
One Touch Arena strongly discourages forfeits as they negatively impact all teams and compromise the integrity of the competition.
6. Teams
a. New players may be added during the season provided they register prior to taking the court.
b. Players may only represent one team per division.
c. Teams will receive eight (10) medals/trophies for Premierships and Championships unless otherwise arranged.
d. A minimum of three players is required to commence a match.
e. No more than five players may be on court at any one time.
f. Teams may have up to five substitutes.
7. Team Uniforms & Equipment
a. Outfield players must wear matching shirts in colour and design.
b. Each player must have an individual, visible number on the back of their shirt.
c. Sports shorts must be worn. (religious circumstances will be considered)
d. Teams will receive a three-week grace period to organise uniforms.
e. Incorrect uniform items may result in goal penalties of up to three goals.
f. Jewellery must not be worn unless approved for medical or religious reasons and safely covered.
g. Referees may stop play until dangerous items are removed.
h. Fill-in players must still wear the team's colours.
i. All players must wear non-marking indoor footwear.
j. Sleeveless shirts and singlets are not permitted.
8. Fixtures & Match Times
a. Fixtures are determined solely by One Touch Arena.
b. Team captains should check fixtures regularly.
c. The match clock will begin at the scheduled time.
d. Teams not ready to play will incur one goal against per minute late.
e. Teams arriving more than five minutes late incur a $20 late fee.
f. Teams more than ten minutes late will forfeit the match.
9. Public Holidays
One Touch Arena generally operates during public holidays unless advised otherwise.
Public holiday fixtures remain scheduled unless officially cancelled by management.
10. Finals Eligibility
a. Finals dates are set by One Touch Arena and are not negotiable.
b. Players must play a minimum of 5 games in a competition to be eligible.
c. Players may only qualify for one team per division.
d. Ladder positions are determined by:
- Competition points
- Goal difference
- Goals scored
- Goals conceded
- Head-to-head result
11. Injuries
a. Injury stoppages do not automatically result in time being added.
b. Injured players should leave the court as soon as practical.
c. Bleeding players must leave immediately and may only return once bleeding has stopped.
d. In serious cases, management may abandon and reschedule the match.
e. Ambulances will be called if requested or deemed necessary.
12. Match Duration
a. Matches consist of two equal halves.
b. Maximum halftime interval: 90 seconds.
c. Matches commence and conclude on the referee's whistle and venue siren.
13. Fighting & Misconduct
One Touch Arena has a zero-tolerance approach to violence.
Any fight or serious act of aggression may result in:
- Immediate removal;
- Suspension;
- Permanent ban;
- Team expulsion from the competition.
No appeal is guaranteed.
14. Court Hire & Casual Bookings
a. Court hire operates subject to league schedules and venue availability.
b. Full payment is required to secure a booking.
c. Cancellations require at least 72 hours' notice.
d. Cancellations inside 72 hours may result in the full fee being charged.
15. Photography, Video & Media Use
a. CCTV operates throughout the venue.
b. By entering the venue, you consent to being photographed or recorded.
c. One Touch Arena may use photos, videos and recordings for promotional, marketing and commercial purposes without compensation.
16. General Venue Rules
- No pets inside the venue.
- No bicycles, scooters or rollerblades inside the facility.
- Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.
- Outdoor footballs are not permitted on futsal courts.
- Team captains are responsible for ensuring players arrive on time.
- Persons directed to leave the venue must do so immediately.
- Failure to comply may result in police involvement.
- Ignorance of the rules is not an acceptable excuse.
- Management reserves the right to make decisions in the best interests of the venue and competitions.
Code of Conduct
One Touch Arena aims to provide a safe, enjoyable and welcoming environment for all participants.
Players
- Play fairly and within the rules.
- Respect teammates, opponents and officials.
- Control your behaviour and language.
- Accept referee decisions.
- Promote a positive environment.
- Do not discriminate based on race, religion, gender, age or ability.
Coaches & Team Officials
- Lead by example.
- Promote sportsmanship.
- Respect all participants and officials.
- Encourage enjoyment and development.
- Support the values of One Touch Arena.
Spectators & Supporters
- Encourage players positively.
- Never abuse officials or players.
- Respect all venue staff.
- Raise concerns privately and respectfully.
One Touch Arena Does Not Tolerate
- Abuse or harassment.
- Threatening behaviour.
- Discrimination.
- Violence.
- Theft or property damage.
- Illegal drug use.
- Conduct that damages the reputation of the venue or its community.
Social Media Policy
Participants must not use social media to:
- Bully or harass others.
- Post defamatory content.
- Share abusive or discriminatory comments.
- Damage the reputation of One Touch Arena, its staff, referees or participants.
Breaches may result in suspensions, bans or removal from competitions.
Video & Photography
Players and spectators frequently record matches for highlights and social media.
One Touch Arena supports the promotion of futsal but asks everyone to:
- Respect the privacy of others;
- Act reasonably;
- Address concerns respectfully.
Where concerns cannot be resolved, matters should be referred to the appropriate authorities.
By entering or participating at One Touch Arena, all patrons agree to abide by these Centre Rules and Code of Conduct.
